OneUp's new 27.2 is truly a smaller version of their already kick ass post in all ways but one.
I don't mean to be harsh here. I didn't notice the fact it is a sealed cartridge vs an adjustable air unit like their other posts till well after I bought it.
The good news, it is a very strong returning post with the same great action as their other posts.
The bad news, if like me and you are buying this post for a kids bike seeing as that is most 27.2 post needs that I know of these days, you may have a problem.
As great as the posts action is, it seems to need around 75-80 LBs to full actuate and my little man (10) is only around 70 (73 to be exact) fully kitted out (Helmet, Pads, Chest, Shoes, and 2L Camelbak). He can get it down about halfway to 2/3s on his own.
So damn I wish it had that adjustable air valve!
But it sure is an awesome post, guess I will be pushing it fully down for him on the big descents and making him bulk up a bit. They do grow fast so shouldn't be a problem for long.
