The V2.1 Dropper Rebuild Kit is an updated rebuild kit for the OneUp V2 Dropper Post with an updated midcap assembly and new ultra-low friction SKF® seals.

Includes:

  • 1 x SKF® Midcap Assembly
  • 1 x Upper Bushing
  • 1 x Lower Bushing
  • 3 x Brass Pins

Note: Be sure to grease the inside of the midcap assembly seal & bushing during installation, along with the stanchion of the dropper.
We recommend using a light suspension grease like Slickoleum for your dropper internals.

Has Almost Everything

"Replacing all of the parts included with this kit during a post rebuild produces a noticeable improvement in dropper action. Takes a post that has sticky spots in the stroke and side-to-side play back to nearly new condition, with a smooth return and reduction in play. However, I cannot figure out why they do not include the rubber cartridge washer in this kit. Mine was badly worn and torn, so I contacted support to try and buy/get one. The response I got was quick and helpful in providing the dimensions of the washer, and they suggested I make one myself out of an old inner tube. I'm still surprised and honestly pretty annoyed that OneUp doesn't include that part in this kit, and their answer is to make it yourself."

Wedgie?

"I’ve had a problem with the bumper collar not lasting very long. It gets squished by the pins when extending then spreads the collar out and my post gets wedged and doesn’t want to raise. I’ve replaced the cap twice since I’ve owned it in 3 years. The first time they replaced it for free. Aside from getting water in my post when I wash my bike upside down this post has been amazing compared to others I’ve used."
