"These are great for little feet. They look just like the adult version too, which little people love. The caps over the pins provide good grip while reducing the shin tearing with really grippy pins - and the covers come off when the kids are ready to really get locked in. This is a well thought out pedal and my first recommendation to any other parents looking to upgrade from stock pedals for their kids."

"Really good choice for my kids. They tend to ride more towards the middle foot/arch over the pedal axle, so the platform shape works well. The pins are toned down so they won’t be as likely to be requiring stitches should they get a shinner. Platform size is good for them as well. A good option all things considered. Match well with thin grips which my daughter prefers over many other options she’s tried. Can recommend. Will buy again."

The Oneup Components Small Composite Pedal is a lightweight and durable platform pedal designed for mountain biking. It features a slim profile and a slightly convex platform and it's designed to fit shoe sizes Up to US 6.5 US (M), 8 US (W), 6 US (Kids), and 38 EU.
The Friendly Pin is a smooth steel nut that covers a regular threaded pedal pin (the same pins found on our full size Composite Pedal). For more grip, you can replace the Friendly Pin with the shorter nut provided, which leaves the threaded pin exposed. More experienced riders with smaller feet may want to run the threaded pins right away.

It is recommended to service your pedals a minimum of once a year. If you ride more than 3 days a week then more regular servicing is ideal.
